Ramsgate has some amazing things to boast about. Not least of which is the harbour (shown in the video). Ramsgate harbour is world famous for a very good reason - the rescue of allied soldiers from France during the second world war.
A bit odd
The ascorbic wit of one sailor described Ramsgate as a too weird for words. Which is another way of saying that it has character. Oodles of the stuff.
Ramsgate is definitely a town with it's own identity despite the more recent actions of the political minority.
